Our Story

Élevé started because I was tired of overpaying for simple hairstyles — styles that, when done right, genuinely elevated how I looked and felt. When I lived in San Antonio, I couldn't find anyone who truly understood how to work with my hair. I'm natural, and what I wanted felt simple on paper: real curl definition, with the versatility to straighten it out whenever I wanted a different look. That combination was nearly impossible to find, and I was done paying premium prices for so little.

I'm originally from Detroit, and I've since built a home for myself in Atlanta. Every move I've made in life has been part of becoming a better version of myself, and my business has followed that same path. I'm on a journey of becoming my higher self, and my physical appearance plays a real part in my confidence — it always has. Élevé exists so that I, and every woman who wears it, can take control of that feeling for ourselves, without depending on a stylist's schedule or a salon's price tag.
